Returns & Refunds Policy

At Situations Designs, we take great care to ensure the quality and craftsmanship of every product. Because many of our items are unique and handcrafted, we have established the following guidelines to ensure a fair and transparent return process.

1. Return Window

We accept return requests for most items within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging.

2. Non-Returnable Items

To maintain health and safety standards and the integrity of our artisan partnerships, the following items are non-returnable:

  • Pillows and Throws: These items cannot be returned once the original sealed packaging has been opened.

  • Custom/Special Orders: Items explicitly marked as "Custom Made" or "Final Sale."

  • Gift Cards: All gift card sales are final.

3. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact us at support@situationsdesigns.com with your order number. If your return is accepted, we will send you a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions on where to send your package.

  • Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting an RA number will not be accepted.

4. Damages and Issues (Our Guarantee)

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately with photos of the issue. We will evaluate the problem and make it right by providing a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.

5. Return Shipping & Fees

  • Defective/Incorrect Items: If the return is due to our error or a damaged product, Situations Designs will cover all return shipping costs.

  • Customer Preference: For all other returns (e.g., "changed my mind"), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Restocking Fee: Returns not due to damage or defect are subject to a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund to cover inspection and processing.

6. Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
